About Cyndi

I’m a Michigan writer shaped by the Great Lakes, the quiet pull of intuition, and a lifelong fascination with the unseen forces that move beneath the surface of our lives. My stories explore the places where science meets mystery, where emotion becomes its own kind of physics, and where the natural world holds more memory than we realize.

I write from the shoreline of Lake Huron, a place where wind, water, and weather are never just background — they’re presence. They’re pulse. They’re the steady rhythm beneath everything I create.

Before writing full‑time, I spent years as a Neonatal Intensive Care RN, caring for the smallest and most vulnerable lives. That work taught me to read subtle signs, to trust instinct, and to honor the strength found in sensitivity. Those lessons echo through my characters, especially the children and adolescents who feel the world more intensely than the adults around them.

My debut series, The Great Lakes Resonance Series, blends atmospheric fantasy, emotional mystery, and the quiet metaphysics of water and memory. It’s a story about intuition, family, and the frequencies that bind us — the ones we sense long before we understand them.

I believe stories can heal, reveal, and reconnect us. They can remind us that sensitivity is not a flaw, but a frequency — one that can guide us, protect us, and sometimes, change everything.

When I’m not writing, you can find me walking the lakeshore, studying the science behind resonance and perception, or exploring the quiet, liminal spaces where ideas tend to find me
