Welcome. I’m Cyndi, a Michigan writer exploring the hidden frequencies that shape our lives — the ones carried through water, memory, intuition, and the quiet places where the natural and metaphysical worlds overlap.

My work blends:

  • the atmospheric power of the Great Lakes,

  • the emotional depth of human connection,

  • the science of resonance and perception,

  • and the mystery of what lies just beyond our ordinary senses.

At the heart of my writing is a belief that stories can heal, reveal, and reconnect us — to ourselves, to each other, and to the land and water that hold our histories.

    Changing Frequency follows Bloom as she crosses into a realm she wasn’t ready to enter — a place shaped by unfamiliar energies, shifting light, and a resonance that responds to her in ways she cannot yet name. And while she navigates this new terrain, danger is forming in the world she left behind.

    The deeper she goes, the more she senses it:
    the world around her is vibrating with patterns she was never meant to see.
    Something in the water is stirring.
    Something ancient.
    Something shadowed in the lakes — and it is hunting her daughter.

  • I write from the shoreline of Lake Huron, where the wind carries stories and the water holds memory. My background as a NICU nurse shapes my understanding of sensitivity, resilience, and the unseen forces that influence us long before we have words for them.

    My work honors:

    • the emotional lives of children and adolescents,

    • the healing power of nature,

    • and the belief that sensitivity is not a flaw — it’s a frequency
